Emergency Food & Shelter (EFSI)

At the heart of SJCPF is our legacy to care for the most vulnerable – and this includes those requiring food and shelter during tough economic times.

SJCPF’s Emergency Food & Shelter Initiative deploys $1 million annually to nonprofits engaged in direct service support to the homeless and the hungry.

SJCPF is also providing grant funding to organizations offering care coordination as part of an emergency food and shelter program. Care coordination involves integrating health care and social support services tailored to clients’ needs, with the goal of breaking the cycle of hunger and homelessness.
